The
Catanduanes Police Provincial Office spearheaded Senior Superintendent Eduardo
Chavez conducted its 1st Provincial Director’s Cup shooting
competition at the shooting range of the Catanduanes PPO and Catanduanes
Pistoleros Gun Club Shooting Range last Nov. 17.
Pistoleros
Gun Club members, PNP and BFP personnel, Kabalikat Civicom and civilian
counterparts participated in the five-category shootfest, with Governor Joseph
Cua taking the first shot to formally open the event which established good
rapport and camaraderie among the shooters.
The
winners in the awarding ceremony held Nov. 20 at the social hall of Camp
Francisco Camacho were:
Civilian
category (9mm): Loyd Bonavente, champion; Erwin Teope, 1st
runner-up; and, Ivanhoe Arcilla, 2nd runner-up.
Lawman
category (9mm): PO1 Roldan Area, champion; PO2 Mark Allen Miña, 1st
runner-up; and, PO3 Julius Jacinto, 2nd runner-up.
Civilian
category (45mm): Mike Tejano, champion; Loyd Bonavente, 1st
runner-up; and, Esmael Rendon, 2nd runner-up.
Lawman
category (45mm): PO1 Ryan Bobier, champion; PO2 Mark Allen Miña, 1st
runner-up; and, SFO2 Nelson Marino, 2nd runner-up.
Lady Shooter category: Sittie Maryam Galia,
champion; and, Atty. Maria Aurea Bo-Bunao, 1st runner-up.
